Commercials

There's nothing more fun than a commercial set. Solving problems and making magic is what makes The Costume Crew stand out among the rest. Our team arrives on set with a full kit containing everything you need for nearly any costuming issue that may arise.

"The Greatest"

For this commercial I worked on set as an Alterations Fitter. My task was to take off-the-rack ready to wear garments and alter them to fit our talent. This included sizing items (turquois scrubs, pajama pants, pink corduroy jacket, cheerleading uniforms) down 3-4 sizes as well as adding accessibility features.  For our Talent in the motorized chair, we used an existing pair of his own pants that fit him comfortably. From there, we made 2-3 more pairs of pants fit that same way.

"Carryout Heroes"

For this project I was called in to do some last minute problem solving. There were major fit issues with our female hero costume as well as function issues with our male hero costume. I restructured the fit of the upper shoulders and recut the insets and gussets for our female hero. For our male hero, I was able to solve the problem by adding a stronger waste elastic, a drawstring for additional strength, as well as lengthening the sturrups on his pants to relieve some of the tension/pull created by the original ones.

Owlet Dream Duo

As the wardrobe stylist for this project, it was my job to shop for and provide options for both mom and baby to wear. It was also my job to source and fit a prosthetic belly for our Talent to use. With minimal alterations needed, this project was about shopping, organizing, and managing a budget.
